This Galapagos itinerary combines wildlife experiences with stunning landscapes, beginning with a stop at Bachas Beach for swimming and observing flamingos and sea turtles. You'll visit locations like Suarez Point, home to nesting blue-footed boobies and waved albatrosses, and Champion Islet, renowned for snorkeling with dolphins and diverse marine life. On South Plaza Island, you'll encounter land iguanas and sea lions along the lava cliffs, while Pitt Point offers birdwatching opportunities to spot frigate birds and three species of boobies. The journey concludes at Gardner Bay, where you can swim alongside playful sea lion pups on a pristine white-sand beach.

Day by day

Day 1 : Baltra Island & Santa Cruz Island: Bachas Beach

In the morning: Arrival at Baltra Airport

Fly from Quito or Guayaquil to Baltra in the Galapagos Islands. You'll reach Baltra Island in the morning. After clearing immigration and collecting your luggage, a Cormorant II staff member will meet you and transfer you to the yacht. You'll be shown to your cabin, where you can settle in before enjoying lunch and a welcome briefing.

In the afternoon: Bachas Beach

Bachas Beach, on the northern shore of Santa Cruz, is perfect for swimming. Here, you can see remnants of the U.S. World War II presence, including a floating pier. The area is also home to flamingos, Sally Lightfoot crabs, hermit crabs, black-necked stilts, whimbrels, and nesting sea turtles.

Day 2 : Genovesa Island: El Barranco & Darwin Bay

In the morning: El Barranco

El Barranco, also known as Prince Phillip’s Steps, features a steep, rocky path leading up a high cliff face. From this vantage point, you can enjoy breathtaking views. The area is adorned with Palo Santo vegetation and is home to wildlife such as red-footed boobies, short-eared owls, Galapagos storm petrels, and Galapagos doves.

In the afternoon: Darwin Bay

Explore the white-sand coral beach at Darwin Bay, where a half-mile trail meanders through mangroves inhabited by land birds like Nazca boobies, red-footed boobies, and swallow-tailed gulls. As you continue along the path, tidal pools offer a chance to see playful sea lions. The trail concludes with a stunning view of a cliff.
