Day by day

Day 1 : Baltra Airport to Santa Cruz Island

Upon arrival, transfer to your boat, meet your guide, and board. In the afternoon, explore the highlands of Santa Cruz, where you'll visit a tortoise ranch and admire remarkable volcanic formations.

Santa Cruz Highlands Excursion (PM)
Explore the highlands of Santa Cruz and encounter Galápagos giant tortoises in their natural environment. Stroll through underground lava tunnels, some extending over 1 km (0.6 mi), and watch for barn owls that may be nesting nearby.

 

Day 2 : Dragon Hill and Chinese Hat

Dragon Hill (AM)
Visit Dragon Hill on the west coast of Santa Cruz to observe land iguanas and a saltwater lagoon frequented by flamingos and other bird species. Walk through a Scalesia tree forest, home to a rare species with fewer than 400 specimens worldwide.

Chinese Hat Visit (PM)
Explore Chinese Hat, a small island near Santiago known for its unique shape. Relax on a white-coral sand beach, snorkel with sea lions and penguins, and hike volcanic terrains with stunning views. Spot marine iguanas and a bustling sea lion colony.

Snorkeling (Chinese Hat) (PM)
Snorkel directly from the coral beach, encountering playful sea lions, tropical fish, marine iguanas, and Galápagos penguins.

Day 3 : El Barranco and Darwin Bay on Genovesa Island
Day 4 : Black Turtle Cove to Baltra Airport
