Launching in early 2025, the National Geographic Delfina is a luxurious catamaran designed for elegant and stable exploration of the Galapagos Islands. It accommodates up to 16 guests in spacious, air-conditioned double cabins featuring refined wood interiors. Cabins are spread over two decks, offering either private balconies (Category 5) or direct access to a large wooden deck (Category 4).
The vessel boasts an open-air Observation Deck that provides panoramic views, complemented by a shaded relaxation area, a whirlpool hot tub, and comfortable lounge chairs. Guests can dine al fresco on the expansive Upper Deck while enjoying breathtaking island vistas. The Main Deck houses the dining room, bar, a cozy lounge with a library, and serves as the embarkation point.
Emphasizing local community engagement and conservation, the National Geographic Delfina features Ecuadorian officers and crew who enhance the immersive experience. The culinary experience is enriched by sustainably sourced ingredients from local farms and seas. Each voyage is led by an experienced Expedition Leader and a National Geographic certified photo instructor, both licensed naturalists guiding adventures within the Galápagos National Park and Marine Reserve.
Departures are scheduled every Friday throughout the year, offering a classic 10-day itinerary that includes pre- and post-voyage stays in Quito or Guayaquil. The ship is also available for private charters, catering to families, groups of friends, or organizations seeking an exclusive Galapagos Islands experience together.
